This still is part of an Aston martin configurator. Clients could create the specification of their Aston martin and see how it will look before buying it.
I created Vray shaders for the main materials, including carbon fibre and the paintwork.
I also lit this car in Maya with Vray.

Practicing lighting using HDR light studio plugin.
Also using this as an exercise in matching pain t colours.

In this animation I used Maya, Vray and Nuke. The Yellow "Electric" graphic was procedurally generated in Nuke.
All the lighting and "Electric" effects had to be timed with the music. There were several animatic passes presented to the client to achieve this before rendering.

This is an example of using VRED for automotive visualization.
I used this project to get a better understanding of using materials and lighting across different software.
Part of this exercise was to maintain the ACES colourspace and material colours across several assets.
